Features:
CableInfo includes an image or a diagram of the connector, description, pinouts and some useful notes. CableInfo uses local database of cables so no internet connection is required. Cables are divided into 4 categories so you can find the cable faster. These categories include audio/video cables, cables used in computers, power supply cables and cables for telecommunications (telephones, computer networks).

Supports user submittable pinouts. New cable pinouts can be submitted to cableinfo.r00li.com and then synced with the device.

Pros and cons of CableInfo app for iPhone and iPad

CableInfo app good for

Great app, if you are in the industry, handy for pc system builders.
I like it, it has much more cableing diagrams than I need, but since when is that a bad thing? It did have RJ-45 cabeling veriations which I wanted. While I expected this program to have it, I was happy to see it did include it after purchasing it. Well worth 99 cents.

Some bad moments

Of the relatively few cables, connectors described, most are "low end retail" types. Nothing exotic, no fiber types, etc.
Im in the telecommunication industry and wanted an app to reference when dealing with different jack pinouts. This app falls short. The RJ 45C is a very popular jack for private line T1s and theres no reference included with this app. Also doesnt include 568A Pinout for Ethernet. Thankfully it was only $.99.
